Surplus Provisions has been based in RI since 2012, and in November 2016, we opened a brick -and-mortar location at 721 Pontiac Ave. in Cranston, RI. We specialize in military surplus, tactical and survival gear. Full Time Store Associate

Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40lbs. regularly
- Dependable/reliable/punctual
- Attention to detail is a must
- Advanced knowledge of tactical gear, weapon platforms, gun accessories, and survival products (you need to be able to recommend applicable products based on customer needs)
- Strong customer service/retail experience
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems (POS, inventory management, etc.)
Schedule:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Salaried, 42 hours expected weekly.

This is an unpaid internship for three months. At the end of the three months, we will conduct a review of your work and discuss potential employment opportunities. During the three months as an intern, you will be managing several different social media accounts, blogs, and channels. You will have the ability to create original content for these networks as well as bring NEW ideas into our Marketing Strategy. You will develop Marketing Projects, implement them, and track their performance. Hours: 15 hrs per week with flexibility for student schedules
